Junisse's clinical approach
Junisse works with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the psychotherapy model with the strongest research support for anxiety disorders, depression and emotional difficulties. Her postgraduate training (a Master's degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from ISEP Barcelona) shows in a structured way of working: together with each patient she identifies the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that keep the distress going, and builds concrete tools to change them, which are also practiced between sessions.
Every process begins with a clinical assessment that maps out the reason for seeking help, the relevant history and the resources the person already has, and only then are goals and a work plan agreed, without rigid protocols. In her 3 years of clinical practice she has mostly worked with adults facing anxiety, depression, emotional dependency and life crises, as well as with couples.
As the founder of the practice, Junisse also safeguards the clinical consistency of the team: she reviews the health content on this website and defines the shared way of working, so that everyone who reaches out receives evidence-based care with the same attention to confidentiality and to the therapeutic relationship.
